Community Engagement

The foundation takes pride in leading, following and collaborating, to provide solutions that combat challenges impacting the community. Participation from the local governments, schools, churches, businesses and individuals, is essential as we work together for the common good. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the foundation partnered with a local government sponsored initiative, the Hamisi COVID19+ relief fund. The aim of the initiative was to provide support and necessities to individuals and families in our community. Through donations from the foundation, we were able to donate masks to local dispensaries and essential workers, such as the “boda-boda” people. One hundred percent of the funds were directed to individuals and families directly impacted by the pandemic.
We plan on extending our initiatives in the future, to further community interaction and have a lasting impact
